There’s just one more day to the Festival. Everything’s coming together splendidly, and we want you to enjoy the it to the fullest. It’s time to prepare yourselves for a weekend of vibrancy. Here are five items that will come in handy!

#1: Cash
Don’t worry: everyone can enjoy the festival for free! But it’s always good to have some money with you. Bring some cash along and savour the great grub from our esteemed food and beverage vendors (like icy treats by The Potong and  piping hot dogs by Kawan Kawan Rapat), as well as for scoring some great finds at the Arts For Grab bazaar!

#2: Gala Night Tickets
Redeemed your #YSDAF14 Gala Night ticket? Great! Don’t forget to bring it along on September 14 to be allowed entry. It’s your passport to a night of epic performances, all on one stage! 

#3: Sunblock 
You can’t beat the Malaysian heat…but you can protect yourself from it. With activities at the klpac grounds starting from 10am, it’d be best to add a layer of skin protection! How about adding a pair of shades or a hat? You can create a great festival-going ensemble and keep the sunbeams at bay!

#4: Umbrella / poncho
While we are all for sunny days, it’s best to be well prepared just in case it pours. Bring an umbrella or put on a cool poncho to stay dry if it starts raining. After all, great art can cause a storm.

#5: A Power Bank
Spotted a stellar performance? Has an installation caught your eye? Don’t hesitate to share it with the world using Instagram, Twitter and Facebook! But remember, your mobile device needs some serious juice, so gear up with a handy power bank. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #YSDAF14 while sharing your pictures and videos!
