Yayasan Sime Darby Arts Festival is set to showcase its second Satellite Show titled 3 Faces 2015 featuring 15 dancers from the Faculty of Dance, Akademi Seni Budaya dan Warisan Kebangsaan (ASWARA).
Last performed in Malaysia in 2012, 3 Faces 2015 unique concept features three vastly different dance forms, performed by the same dancers, all in one night.
The 2015 staging follows the same concept but with a different lineup this time around. Bringing together some of the top choreographers under the direction of Dr. Joseph Gonzales, Artistic Director of ASWARA Dance Company (ADC), audiences will be treated to a spellbinding triple bill of Bharatanatyam, Main Zapin and contemporary dance.
3 Faces 2015 is scheduled to be performed on 9 and 10 October 2015 at 8.30pm with an additional matinee show on 10 October at 3.00pm. Taking place at Black Box, ASWARA, it promises to leave the audience with a sense of pride on the future of Malaysian dance. The show is open to the public and is free of charge. The seating capacity at Black Box, ASWARA is 100 pax per session on a first come first served basis, so be sure to be there early to guarantee your seat.
