Unfolding” is a colorful 20-minute video theater performance. An abstract audio-visual thriller in which a search is suggested into an Asian-European body memory. Light, sound, video, physical theatre and animation work in an original way in the performance. Gerard Mosterd is a veteran choreographer/theatremaker from Dutch/Indonesian origin. He’s toured extensively in the SEA region and performed with prominent artists such as Gumarang Sakti, Miroto and film maker Garin Nugroho. Mosterd has created 40 independent, original works around cross cultural themes concerning Asia and Europe. Several of them have been performed in Malaysia such as “Ketuk Tilu” last year at the Kuala Lumpur International Arts Festival.
