We have a host of Yayasan Sime Darby Arts Festival activities lined up, including three satellite shows, leading up to the mammoth finale on 20 and 21 August 2016.
To kick things off, we are launching Pitch Start – a platform to submit project ideas and proposals. The search is on for Malaysia’s brightest and most creative talents to be a part of the festival commissions.
Artistes can submit their own interpretation of the festival theme in any language or genre through Pitch Start. Those shortlisted will get the chance to pitch their ideas to a panel. The winners will not only receive funding to bring their ideas to fruition but will have the chance to premiere it at the festival finale attended by thousands.
