After a smashing maiden outing last year attracting more than 15,000 people, the Yayasan Sime Darby Arts Festival (YSDAF) is coming back. From this August onwards, satellite shows will be popping up all over Klang Valley along with a whole host of arts activities gearing up to the mammoth finale on 20 and 21 August 2016.
Themed Arts Education + Future, the festival will continue to showcase the many amazing local talents in the same down-to-earth setting, free for the public. This time round, however, a few twists will be thrown into the mix.
Presented by Yayasan Sime Darby (YSD) and produced together with its partner The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (klpac), the YSDAF is a Malaysian community project aimed at bringing the local arts scene to the fore and, at the same time, bringing the arts to more people.
