We will open our doors at klpac once again for arts and culture lovers and festivalgoers with a host of activities lined up in August!
#YSDAF will take festivalgoers on a journey through time by looking at the past and also to the future. While it celebrates the evolution of the local arts industry, it will also contemplate the future of the arts. The public got a taste of what’s to come with last year’s trio of satellite shows.
This year, we’ll kick things off with the Future Living Design Competition call for entries. Budding architects and designers are welcome to showcase their creativity by designing a futuristic structure that will stand at the festival finale.
There’s more! You can expect a whole host of other activities including open auditions for a mentorship programme in April, a ‘Shakespeare in Schools’ programme in May and a call to participate in a crowd sourced photography exhibit entitled ‘Then & Now’ in the same month.
