The speech and drama class for ages 10 to 12 offers students explore creativity, teamwork, and acting techniques through fun and engaging activities. They develop improvisation skills, character-building, and effective storytelling abilities. The class covers vocal warm-ups, stage movement, and script analysis, fostering confidence and stage presence. Rehearsals and constructive feedback prepare students for a final showcase where they perform scenes and monologues. This dynamic experience nurtures a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts while cultivating essential life skills in a supportive and enjoyable environment.
In a 45-minute workshop, students experience interactive drama games and activities, sparking interest in speech and drama. Positive encouragement fosters confidence and exploration.
About the Artiste / Group
Adam Hamizan is a Corporate Administration Diploma holder. He decided to hone his performing talents and became an ensemble member of Theatre for Young People (T4YP) 2019.
His past performing credits include: “Kurator Dapur” (2018); “TIGA 3” (2019), Five Arts Centre; “Bunga Mimpi Yang Kembang Kuncup” (2019); “Rashomon” (2020), klpac; “T4YP Emergence: Love & Loss” (2020), klpac. More recently, he was involved in the Singapore Bicentennial Experience playing the role of Sang Nila Utama.
