Straw Lim 林水草
Malaysian indie artist, Straw Lim 林水草, uses her latest single “I Wonder” to raise awareness on social issues through her vulnerable and dreamy songwriting. Inspired by her backpacking trips to close to 50 countries.
Straw’s album “Excursion” produced in 2019 alongside Dae Kim, plays a huge role in her search for meaning in life. Currently based in North Borneo, she explores art and activism while composing her next album. Her mellow tones paired with gritty lyrics and vocal loops attempt to unfold the stories and voices gathered in her head.
