Cloudscapes : A Journey of Hope

“Cloudscapes: A Journey of Hope” is an digital art installation that explores the themes of hope, nostalgia, and anticipation for the future through a visual and sensory journey of clouds.

These themes are closely tied to YSDAF 2023’s theme of “Shout it Out: Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow,” which invites participants to reflect on the past, embrace the present, and look forward to the future.

The installation will transform Pentas 2 into a dreamlike environment with suspended clouds crafted from FSC paper materials, softly lit with LED lights to create an ethereal and otherworldly atmosphere. As viewers move through the space, they will be enveloped by changing light patterns that mimic the shifting hues and tones of clouds at different times of day, evoking the passage of time and the fleeting nature of clouds.

Soft ambient music and soundscapes will accompany the visual elements, enhancing the sensory experience and creating an immersive environment.

Cloudscapes: Journey of Hope was shortlisted as part of YSDAF 2023’s Pitch Start grant.
