Year 1 Interior Architecture Exhibition: Reimagining klpac

In line with YSDAF 2023’s Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow theme, the Malaysian Institute of Art’s Interior Architecture students took on a challenge to reimagine an alternate use for klpac’s current set construction workshop under the guidance of lecturers William Chew and Pam Lim.

After all, klpac’s Century-old building was repurposed from an old saw mill and train depot.

Now, it’s these young designers turn to reimagine another future for this nook at klpac. Fourteen bold and interesting concepts pushing the boundaries of imagination will be presented ranging from a bookstore to an escape room, hidden bar to maze.

“Reimagining klpac” designs will be exhibited at YSDAF 2023 festival finale.
