Nyoba Kan is Malaysia’s premier Butoh dancer group. Artistic Director Lee Swee Keong combines various techniques and disciplines from pioneers of the art form into his own personal Butoh philosophy which includes elements of Qi Gong, Yoga, Buddhism, Taoism and Contemporary Dance.

At each YSDAF, Nyoba Kan’s showcase is much-anticipated and photographed as the performers roam the festival ground in their trademark all-white body make up and slow, hyper-controlled movements. This year, they will be presenting a piece entitled Romansa Ngalambeksa.
