This art workshop is an opportunity for parents and children to create a beautiful forest of Anak Rimba animals & friends, with characters from “Why don’t I look like you”. There will also be a storytelling session with the authors of the book as they share a delightful tale about a little Tapir called “Timo”, who goes on a journey to discover why he doesn’t look like his mother.

Anak Rimba Books was created by Abyan Junus-Nishizawa and Farah Landemaine who both had a shared interest in promoting creative content which focuses on endangered animals in Asia. They both are the founders of Asiana Chic Enterprise and are self-published authors of their first book: “Why Don’t I Look Like You”. Through their books, they hope to give endangered Asian animals a centre stage and aim to cultivate nature loving kids who will be more aware of the environment and universal values such as kindness and respecting our animal friends.
