Conducted by educator, youth worker and workshop facilitator Mooza Mohd, Rainbow of Desire is a range of theatre techniques within the Theatre of the Oppressed developed by Augusto Boal. It replays situations from our everyday lives and reveals invisible elements of our relationships, emotions, mental obstacles (the cop in our head), and desires that block us from being true to ourselves. It is a tool to explore our conflicts, analyse internalised oppressions we carry within us, identify our automatic responses, and transform them collectively as a group. It gives a ‘face’ to systems of thoughts, feelings and inner workings.
