Teenage Dream by klpac’s Theatre for Young People

klpac’s Theatre For Young People (T4YP) programme this year brings together a cast of 16 amateur actors and actresses who have undergone an intensive four month programme comprising sessions in acting, storytelling, voice work, writing, devising, movement, traditional arts and dance.

As a result, Teenage Dream was born. The performance is directed by Mark Beau de Silva and Ho Lee Ching and they endeavour to ‘excavate’ the lives, hopes, and dreams of today’s young Malaysians as seen through their teenage selves. The directors were inspired by the notion that the voices of the Malaysian youth today, will tell the stories that will carve the story of our country’s future.
