With the hope of using design to solving social issues, Ashwaniy Sambasebang came up with the TIKAR project. The idea behind TIKAR was to combine the function of a bag and shelter. The resulting product is light and convenient. TIKAR will serve as a temporary, portable shelter for the homeless sleeping on the streets where they are exposed to the elements.
