Sara and Jimmy got to know each other in their previous band “Eight Twelve” and have been performing together for eight years. They play traditional & classic guzheng music together, but they also love to explore experimental and improvisation music. They were chosen to join One Beat Borneo 2022, an exchange program by U.S. Department of State. They have performed in City Roars Festival & Urbanscapes.

Sara Heng
Guzheng artist Sara Heng holds a Masters of Music degree in Guzheng Performance from the prestigious Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM) in Beijing under the tutelage of renowned guzheng virtuoso Professor Ji Wei and Professor Yuan Sha. Sara was professionally trained as a soloist in both traditional and contemporary music. She embarked on her music career in Malaysia after graduating from CCOM and explored different music genres such as indie rock, ambient and experimental music with the electric guzheng. Sara performs internationally in music festivals and concerts across Singapore, China, Japan, South Korea and Cambodia. Sara is also the founder or The Guzheng Academy and the deputy president of Malaysia Guzheng Association. In year 2023, Sara was invited to judge the grand final of Macao Guzheng Competition. Sara has performed at Rainforest World Music Festival and the George Town Festival 2022, and represented Malaysia to join One Beat Borneo in 2023, an exchange program by the U.S. State Department.

王惜盈（Sara Heng),中央音乐学院古筝专业硕士，目前担任马来西亚古筝学院创办人、马来西亚古筝协会署理主席，以及吉隆坡中国文化中心古筝导师。她的音乐之路始于古筝教育家赖亚来先生，后在中央音乐学院深造，师从袁莎和吉炜两位著名古筝演奏家。

王惜盈在学术上获得了多项荣誉，包括中国政府全额奖学金、北京市外国留学生奖学金及北京高校优秀留学生奖项。她曾在香港国际古筝比赛、禾乐奖国际器乐独奏赛和中国高等院校音乐教育研究会主办的全国高等院校器乐比赛中获得荣誉奖项。2022年曾受邀在马来西亚热带雨林世界音乐节Rainforest World Music Festival(RWMF)及乔治市艺术节George Town Festival演出。2019年及2022年被录取代表马来西亚参与由美国国务院发起的One Beat国际交流计划。

在教学和演出方面，王惜盈致力于古筝艺术的推广和传承，在马来西亚举办了多场音乐会和大师班，培养了许多学生，曾获得多次优秀教师奖并多次受邀出国演出及担任国际、国内古筝比赛评委，曾担任第十届国际青少年艺术节总决赛、澳门古筝邀请赛、BOH金马仑艺术大奖评委及新加坡南洋理工大学孔子学院及鼟学院华乐器乐考级的考官。

Jimmy Chong
Jimmy Chong graduated from ICOM, majoring in percussion, music composition & arrangement, and music production. He is an active musician in many local indie music groups and a frequent in local performing arts circle. His prefered music genres ranges from avant garde, modern, pop, rock, jazz, electronic, and experimental music. Jimmy has performed in countless commercial performances, music concerts, and cutural music events, touring countries such as France, USA, Macau, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Maldives, Turkmenistan, India, and China.

张俊勇毕业于ICOM国际音乐学院,主修敲击乐、编曲以及音乐制作。活跃于 马来西亚独立音乐和表演艺术圈。后参与各种音乐类型的演出,跨足足传统、现 代、流行行、摇滚、爵士士、电玩乐以及实验性音乐等。参与过国内外无无数商演, 演唱会伴奏以及文文化艺术音乐节演出,包括法国、美国、澳门,香港,新加坡、 台湾、马尔地夫、土土库曼斯坦、印尼以及到中国巡演。
