Alanis Morissette Sing-Along
3.00 pm - 3.30 pm
Stage Two (G3)
#FestivalHighlight. If you were a 90s child, this is for you! Jagged Little Pill cemented Alanis Morissette as one of alternative rock’s most iconic female vocalists. The Young KL Singers (YKLS) will be bringing Ironic, Hands in My Pocket and more to YSDAF 2025 Urban Tour.
Like the one-day choir concept, people from all walks of life are invited to come and sing together with YKLS. They’re welcomed to sing the melody for all songs but for one song at each location, conductor Mak Chi Hoe will be teaching audiences the harmony for the chorus and how to blend their voices with the choir so everyone can sing together, side by side, as one voice.
This teaser at YSDAF is a sneak peek of YKLS’ concert ‘Watching a Sky Full of Stars with Hands in My Pocket’ which will feature Alanis’ emotional music and Coldplay’s soaring anthems. It will be staged in September at klpac.
