Led by Artistic Director Alfren Salgado, a former soloist with Ballet Manila, Dancelink Performing Arts believes in bringing ballet to the people, and the people to ballet.
Dancelink Performing Arts is excited to make their debut at the Yayasan Sime Darby Arts Festival (YSDAF) with a special programme that they have curated featuring a mix of classical and contemporary pieces.
Audiences can look forward to excerpts from timeless classics like Giselle and Cinderella Waltz, as well as original works ranging from the neoclassical ballet duo Kapatid to contemporary and modern pieces like Striving Against, Plaisirs d’Amour, and Legend of 80. Choreography by Alfren Salgado, Hong Violet, and James Kan.
Each piece reflects not just technique and discipline, but also their passion for storytelling through movement. They are proud to share these dances with you and hope they bring a bit of joy, beauty, and inspiration to your day.
