This fun-filled workshop for children ages 5 to 7 is the perfect introduction to drama for little ones. Drama in the Jungle! is a sampler of The Actors Studio Academy @ klpac’s popular Speech and Drama programme that runs throughout the year.
Get creative and let your kids’ imagination run wild in this 45-minute workshop where they explore a walk in the jungle with creative pantomime activities, storytelling, movements, and songs. Apart from a whole lot of fun and giggles, they will be stepping out of their comfort zone and learning some new skills in a group setting.

Those who have pre-registered must show up at the workshop location at least 15 min. prior to the workshop time. Otherwise your spot will be released.
About the Artiste / Group
The Actors Studio Academy @ klpac
Founded by Dato’ Dr. Faridah Merican and Joe Hasham OAM, The Actors Studio Academy is a pioneer in arts education in Malaysia. The very first class in 1992 comprised luminaries such as Tiara Jacquelina Eu, Patrick Teoh, Leslie Dawson, Ramli Hassan, Jeffery Nicholson and Fawziah Nawi, to name a few. It has since nurtured thousands of artistes, many who are regarded as the crème de la crème of the industry today.
At The Actors Studio Academy, they believe that the study of the arts is not only for those who are interested to pursue a career as an artiste. The same skills can be applied in our daily lives.
Today, its team of educators headed by Kimmy Kiew run the only performing arts academy attached to an arts centre – The Actors Studio Academy @ klpac. With a clear pathway for children through to adults, learn from artiste-educators with hands-on experience in the industry and enjoy direct access to klpac’s full range of facilities.
Apart from its famed all year round Speech and Drama programme, the Academy also offers other courses such as contemporary and traditional dance, K-Pop dance, Malay Gamelan, Nanyang Shaolin martial arts and more. Customised courses for school groups as well as arts-based corporate training and team building are also available.
