Bayangan is Malaysian singer-songwriter, Fikri Fadzil. His music delves into themes of self- discovery and reflections of the transient nature of life. His evocative storytelling perspective is not only recognisable through his lyrics, but also in the unique blend of melodic harmonies, acoustic and ambient electronic sounds, and musical arrangements of his works.
His songs are characterised by soul-stirring vocals, poetic songwriting, and intricate musicality that showcases his dedication to his craft. With each work, he evokes a sense of nostalgia that reflects both personal experiences and universal emotions.
For YSDAF 2025, he will be backed by his session musicians, delivering a full band experience that brings his emotive storytelling to life with rich, textured arrangements and dynamic performances.
