Everything you need to know before heading to YSDAF 2025 Urban Tour’s final stop at Elmina Lakeside Mall on 9 August 2025 which is also the 2025 festival’s Grand Finale.
What kind of activities do you have?
YSDAF 2025 Urban Tour’s final stop boasts an evening programming with 80+ arts activities by over 300 award-winning artistes from 4.00pm to 11.00pm. Most of the performances are bite-sized i.e. 20-minute shows while workshops are 30 – 45 minutes long.
The activities will take place at multiple spaces along the mall as well as outdoors in the park. Expect a varied lineup from the traditional to the contemporary and across the different genres including music, dance, theatre and visual arts.
Do I need tickets?
No, true to YSDAF tradition – each activity is free of charge and no tickets are needed so that more Malaysians, especially first-timers, can enjoy the arts. However, workshop capacity is limited. There will be some pre-registration slots and some walk-in slots on a first come, first served basis.
How do I find out more about the programme?
Browse the Festival Lineup to read more about the activities and artistes involved. The Festival Schedule will be released closer to the festival date. Don’t forget to pick up a Programme Guide with a map and full schedule on the event day.
What should I do if I didn’t manage to pre-register for the workshop?
There are limited walk-in slots. Proceed to the workshop location at least 15 minutes prior and join the walk-in queue (first come, first served). If those who pre-registered drop out, more spots may open up. Apart from workshops, each Handyzone booth also offers all-day long activities that do not require registration – feel free to check those out too.
Are the festival activities suitable for kids?
Yes, kids will enjoy the wide-ranging activities or one can simply chill and enjoy the beautiful grounds including outdoor park. Let them experience as much as possible without worrying whether they will enjoy or ‘get it’ – it is a good chance to expose them to different art forms.
Is the event accessible?
Festival Ambassadors will also be on duty to assist Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) from the main drop off. Read on for a full access guide for transportation, PWD and families with young children.
Is there an ATM on site?
Yes there is an ATM on site.
What food options are there?
Elmina Lakeside Mall boasts approximately 50 F&B outlets ranging from fast food chains to coffee and dessert shops as well as family favourites like Nando’s, Kenny Hills Bakers and more.
What should I bring?

If you plan to chill outdoors, it might be a good idea to bring your own picnic chairs!
