POSTPONED: Handyzone Workshop @ YSDAF 2025

We regret to inform you that all Handyzone workshops at YSDAF 2025 Urban Tour at Elmina Lakeside Mall have been postponed. A storm occurred on Fri 8 Aug and the designated space has been closed off for safety reasons. The rest of YSDAF 2025 activities will be continue with some minor adjustments.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused. We hope to have the workshops at a later date still. If it works out, we will still honour those who have pre-registered by giving you priority.

We hope you will still come by to check out all the other YSDAF activities. As the team is on the ground on event day, we are unable to respond to your queries until after the festival.

These workshops curated by KeyNote Minds for YSDAF include diverse activities providing engaging, hands-on opportunities to explore Malaysian culture, foster creativity, and promote environmental consciousness to kids and families.

SoundCraft Studio – Foley Magic (4 pm – 5 pm)
Participants make eco-friendly Malaysian musical instruments to create live sound effects for a short film.

Skyline Studio – Wau Creation (6 pm – 7 pm)
Participants create Malaysian style kites (Wau) using simple and recyclable materials.

Voices in Motion – Poetry (8 pm – 9 pm)
Participants create poems deepen their poems using stop motion video.

[ Walk-In ] All-Day Booth Activities for Curious Cats and Spontaneous Strollers (3 pm – 10 pm)
Other activities available include story-based memory linking games, “Poetree” to display favourite poems and pantuns, upcycled music & jam session and selfie corner. No pre-registration required for this specific activity.

Ages: 3 – 12 years old (parents must accompany kids)
