POSTPONED: Handyzone Workshop @ YSDAF 2025
We regret to inform you that all Handyzone workshops at YSDAF 2025 Urban Tour at Elmina Lakeside Mall have been postponed. A storm occurred on Fri 8 Aug and the designated space has been closed off for safety reasons. The rest of YSDAF 2025 activities will be continue with some minor adjustments.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused. We hope to have the workshops at a later date still. If it works out, we will still honour those who have pre-registered by giving you priority.
We hope you will still come by to check out all the other YSDAF activities. As the team is on the ground on event day, we are unable to respond to your queries until after the festival.

Making fine silver jewellery is more accessible than ever—thanks to metal clay artistry. This innovative technique opens the door for anyone to shape their own silver jewellery. No mass production. Just you, your unique vision, and the fulfilling joy of bringing it to life with your own hands.
In this workshop, participants will create either a pendant or ring using the most beginner-friendly method of silver jewellery making. Open to ages 18 and above, it’s a perfect entry point for anyone who loves the artistry of jewellery making and finds joy in working with their hands.
All tools, equipment, and silver materials are provided. Please note that no printed handouts or documentation will be given but there will be references.

Get an up-close look at the step-by-step process of how a soft, clay-like material (made of pure silver particles) is transformed into jewellery— revealing its final form as 99.9% fine silver. This experience offers a fascinating introduction to the world of silver clay artistry. Perfect for the curious and creatively inclined, this discovery showcase will leave you inspired by the art — and alchemy — of silver-making. No pre-registration required for this specific activity.

About Nell | Founder and Artisan
I have always found myself in the creative space—drawn to the joy of turning an idea or vision into something tangible.
My fascination with creative jewellery began in my teens. The artistry behind each piece captivated me and left me wondering, “”How was that made?”” That question sparked a deep curiosity, leading me to explore various techniques until I discovered the world of metal clay. In 2021, I completed a Japan-certified instructor course, and soon after, Nellevate Studio came to life.
Today, I’m excited to share this joy, curiosity, and sense of creative wonder—with others, through craft, technique, and meaningful self-expression.
