Essential Info

Here are some tips to enjoy #YSDAF2023!

Transportation

Due to the high traffic flow and limited parking, do use an e-hailing service or take public transport – it’s better for the environment too!

Hop onto our free YSDAF shuttle van service from 10.00am onwards, every half hourly from KTM Sentul station and every 15 minutes from MRT Sentul Barat station. Look out for the YSDAF signs on the vans.

We’re all about BYOC this year. Do bring your own container, cutlery, carrier & tumblers to enjoy discounts at Lorong Makan. We’ve also installed two water refilling stations.

Exploring The Venue

There are 19 pocket locations indoors & outdoors of klpac. Check out the map in the Festival Guidebook here. The physical book is available at at Information Counter during festival finale weekend.

You can also use one of the digital screens to browse the full programme or simply wander & explore!

How The Programme Works

The day programme runs from 11.00am to 8.00pm with bands coming in from 5.00pm until late. The ticketed Gala Night concert starts at 8.30pm with ticket redemption starting at 6.00pm at Information Counter (Ground Floor Lobby).

Use the sticker icons e.g. kids icon for kid-friendly activities. Don’t miss our Festival Highlights identified by the speaker icons.

No tickets needed except for Gala Night. There is an online pre-registration for workshops but you can try walking in 15-20 minutes before the start of the workshop (subject to availability, walk-in queue on first come first served basis).

Be Part Of The Magic

We have an array of workshops for kids through to adults – all free. Most workshops are in the studios on Level 3 while the Handyzone workshops are out in the Front Lawn.

Pre-register online below the specific workshop listing under Festival Lineup.

If you did not pre-register online for the workshop, head to the workshop location at least 15 minutes prior to the workshop time to try to get a spot. Capacity is limited.

For ease of access, the Physiotherapy / Dance for Parkinson’s workshop is held in Pentas 1 which is accessible from the Ground Floor.

Families With Kids

Apart from the workshops in the studios indoors, there is also a lot to see and do outdoors. Check out the Kids Tent @ Main Lawn & Handyzone @ Front Lawn.

If your child is sensitive to loud noises, do bring noise blockers. Pack a change of clothes, diapers etc. Keep a close watch as there is uneven ground outdoors and a lake by the Main Lawn / Deck.

Do show them the location of the Information Counter & teach them how to identify the Festival Secretariat with lanyard in case they get lost / separated from you.
