A retelling of Malaysian folktales through a musical directed by Melina William, Dondang Dongeng premiered in August 2023 and won 5 out of 9 nominations at the 19th BOH Cameronian Arts Awards in 2024 including Best Musical Direction, Best Production Values, Best Original Composition, Best Group Performance (Instrumental) and Best of 2023.

For YSDAF 2025, the team will be running a workshop for kids which serves as an introduction to Lagu Rakyat – Trek Tek Tek. Kids will learn the basics of the song & pantun plus learn how to play the kompang in accompaniment. It will end with a final group presentation of the song.

Pre-registration for workshop required due to limited capacity. Look out for the open call to registration.
