Everything you need to know before heading to YSDAF 2025 Urban Tour at KL East Mall.
Expect a varied lineup from the traditional to the contemporary and across the different genres including music, dance, theatre and visual arts. Apart from the anchor shows, most of the performances are bite-sized i.e. 20-minute shows while workshops are 30 – 45 minutes long.
Do I need tickets?
No, true to YSDAF tradition – each activity is free of charge and no tickets are needed so that more Malaysians, especially first-timers, can enjoy the arts. However, online pre-registration will be required for workshops due to the capacity limit.
How do I find out more about the programme or register for the workshops?
Browse the Festival Lineup or Schedule. To register for a workshop, find the listing for the activity, scroll down and hit the ‘Book Now’ button.
Is the event accessible?
Yes, the mall is accessible via public transport and is PWD as well as kid-friendly. Festival Ambassadors will also be on duty to assist Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). Read on for full access guide for transportation, PWD and families with young children.
