Everything you need to know before heading to YSDAF 2025 Urban Tour’s second stop at PARC, Subang Jaya on 5 July.

FAQ
What kind of activities do you have?

From 11.00am to 5.00pm, there’ll be 80 arts activities ranging from shows to workshops by over 330 award-winning artistes. In addition, there will also be site-specific performances as well as pop-up acts by street performers.
Expect a varied lineup from the traditional to the contemporary and across the different genres including music, dance, theatre and visual arts. Apart from the anchor shows, most of the performances are bite-sized i.e. 20-minute shows while workshops are 30 – 45 minutes long.

Do I need tickets?
No, true to YSDAF tradition – each activity is free of charge and no tickets are needed so that more Malaysians, especially first-timers, can enjoy the arts. However, online pre-registration will be required for workshops due to the capacity limit.

How do I find out more about the programme?
Browse the Festival Lineup or Schedule. Don’t forget to pick up a Programme Guide with a map and full schedule on the event day.

What should I do if I didn’t manage to pre-register for the workshop?
Proceed to the workshop location at least 15 minutes prior and join the walk-in queue to try your luck. If those who pre-registered drop out, some spots may open up (as spots are extremely limited, there is no guarantee). Apart from that, some of the Handyzone booths do offer all-day long activities – feel free to check those out too.

Are the festival activities suitable for kids?

Yes, kids will enjoy the wide-ranging activities or one can simply chill and picnic on the lawn overlooking the lake. Let them experience as much as possible without worrying whether they will enjoy or ‘get it’ – it is a good chance to expose them to different art forms.

Is the event accessible?
Yes, the event space is largely accessible. The PARC building is a single-storey building with ramps leading into and out of the building from roadside drop off on one side to lawn area on other side. Festival Ambassadors will also be on duty to assist Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) from the main drop off. Read on for a full access guide for transportation, PWD and families with young children.

Is there an ATM on site?
No, there is no ATM on site. Please bring cash or better yet, top up your e-wallet for cashless transactions.

What food options are there?
PARC boasts a nice selection of F&B outlets namely Unfold, Tomo tomo, A Scoop of, Bengbeng Sourdough and Wise Crafters. YSDAF is also bringing in several food trucks  courtesy of Selangor Foodtruck Club including TeaTime, UNCLEBOB, Pirate Burger & Western, MY Bariani and Walla Walla.
