Disability Equality Training (DET) is a participatory learning programme that emphasises on positive outcomes. Participants will be led through a series of exercises to discover the meaning and causes of disability, whilst examining the various issues faced by disabled people. Subsequently, participants are taught approaches to proactively make society more inclusive.

The session is led by Peter Tan, Principal Facilitator at Peter Tan Training. He is also a Trainer of Facilitators for Disability Equality Training (DET), certified by the Department of Social Welfare Malaysia (DSWM), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and DET Forum.
