FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
Pitch Start Winner: Subject Y Exhibit

Pitch Start is platform we created in 2014 for artistes or art groups to submit their creative and original ideas. Winners not only receive funding to bring their ideas to fruition but have the chance to premiere it at the festival finale attended by the public.

The winner of this year’s Pitch Start grant is Chin Wen Yen, who is the founder of an architectural scale model-making company called Cae House Model. Her winning idea is a multi-sensory, touchable museum catered to the visually and hearing impaired.

Visitors will experience different forms of sensory stimulations while they walk through exhibits revolving around arts and culture, science, architecture, nature and sound. Those without visual impairment will be blindfolded so that they experience the same journey as those with visual impairment.
