Amrita has performed in Malaysia and Nashville, Tennessee including the Bluebird Cafe and featured at The Song Suffragettes. She has also represented Malaysia in Nanning, China at their annual Transnational Chinese New Year Festival, and performed at Music Lane Festival in Okinawa Japan in 2023. Her hits which has been radio favourites include ‘Familiar Strangers’, ‘Glitter and Gold’ and ‘We’ll Share The Same Stars’ (featuring Chris M. Yong).

Among the awards under her belt are: Digi WWWOW Award (2013), Short + Sweet Overall, Audience Choice (2016) & Shortlisted John Lennon Songwriting Competition (2023).

Telling stories of falling in love, heartbreak, and growing up through her songs, Amrita Soon’s songs are carefully crafted to tug at your heartstrings. Armed with a guitar and a voice that soothes the soul, her music reflects insights of a journey through the chaos of life.

She has performed extensively in Malaysia and in Nashville, Tennessee including having sung at the famous Bluebird Cafe and featured at The Song Suffragettes. She represented Malaysia together with pH Music in Nanning, China at their annual Transnational Chinese New Year Festival which aired on international TV in 2018, 2019 and virtually in 2021.

The title track from Amrita’s EP, ‘Familiar Strangers’ charted at #1 on She Wolf Radioin the US, and #9 on Hitz fm Malaysia’s MET 10. She recently released ‘Glitter and Gold’ and it is currently being played on local radio stations and reached #1 on Rakita FM’s Lokalah chart in February. Her Latest EP, ‘Good Thing Going’ was written, recorded and produced in her room collaborating with various artists and musicians. The lead single ‘Glitter and Gold’ is being played on Malaysian radio.
