Hikayat Series & Workshop is an initiative by Kakiseni to spark interest and curiosity on Malaysian traditional performing arts through illustrated storybooks, live performances, and hands-on activities especially to young children.

About the Artiste / Group

Established in 2001, Kakiseni is dedicated towards building a sustainable arts industry in Malaysia through programmes that enrich artists and develop audience appreciation for the arts. Its ongoing initiatives include The BOH Cameronian Arts Awards, Kakiseni Junior, SeniKidZ and Hikayat Series & Workshop. Kakiseni also advocates for the value of art and culture in Malaysia and champion new ways of bringing artists and organisations together to create enriching and creative experiences for all.
