Renowned for their tight & energetic live performance, Prasasti is a new wave alternative outfit that infuses malay ballad melodies into western music genres ranging from the likes of trip – hop, post punk, new wave, to industrial. Prasasti consists of four members; Jimmy on drums, RobotWan on vocals, Nabil on Guitar & Omar on bass.

Their music is influenced by the tunes of The Cure, The Smiths, New Order, Portishead, Massive Attack as well as local legends such as P Ramlee, Broery Marantika, and The Strollers. The combination of genres in the music that Prasasti bring out is often unique and stands out as they are the pioneers to this amalgamation of music.

All of their music are composed, written, arranged, recorded and performed by themselves.
