We are on the hunt for two talented singers to be a part of YSDAF 2023’s Gala Night!

If you have what it takes and love iconic Malaysian songs, come audition for Unforgettable: Lagenda Malaysia, co-directed by Ian Chow & Dato’ Dr. Faridah Merican.

You will have the chance to perform alongside seasoned performers in this concert celebrating legendary Malaysian artistes such as Sudirman, Saloma, P. Ramlee, Ramli Sarip, M Nasir, Dr Sam, Alleycats, Search, Wings, and more.

AUDITION DETAILS

Auditions are strictly by appointment only. Please read the information carefully and register for the audition below.

Audition Dates: 13th & 14th April 2023 (Thursday & Friday) @ 6pm-10pm

Audition Venue: Studio 6, klpac

Pre-Requisite:

a) Must be 18 years old and above

b) Open to Malaysians only with good command of Bahasa Malaysia

c) Must be able to commit to the production dates from 14th to 27th August 2023 and rehearsals in July / August 2023 (Exact date to be advised upon selection).

Audition Requirements:

a) Candidate must sing two (2) songs:

• One (1) song from Group A
• One (1) song from Group B

b) One verse and one chorus for both song choices

c) To be sung a capella (no accompaniment needed)

•       Bila Larut Malam by Saloma

Group B

•       Chow Kit Road by Sudirman
•       Fantasia Bulan Madu by Search
•       Ikhlas Tapi Jauh by Zainal Abidin

Production Dates:

14 – 27 August 2023 (including bump-in & technical rehearsal)

Rehearsal Dates:

July – August 2023
