#YSDAF2018 OPENING
PERFORMANCE
The mammoth YSDAF 2018 finale weekend will kick off with a bang on Saturday 18 August at 10.30am with a drum and visual spectacle with crowd favourite, Drum Simfoni and YMCA Deafbeat.
GALA NIGHT
On 19 August 2018, we will celebrate #YSDAF2018 with an open-to-public Gala Night. There, we will showcase Adam! The Musical, nearly a decade after its premiere and 35 record-breaking performances. The Gala Night tickets are free-for-all, though only limited spaces are available. Redeem your tickets at the Information Counter at the Ground Floor Lobby from 6PM onwards on 19 August 2018. Doors open at 8:20PM. Showtime commences from 8:30PM to 10:30PM.
THEATRE
Almost a decade after its premiere and 35 record-breaking performances, a new and improved Adam! The Musical will make its comeback at the YSDAF Finale! Plus, catch Life Sdn. Bhd.: Issues, as we shine the spotlight on real people with real stories.
MUSIC
With bands curated by Soundscape Records, we’re happy to reveal local sweethearts, Bittersweet and Kugiran Masdo! as #YSDAF2018’s headliners! We’re also featuring Cyanus, the winner of #YSDAF Satellite show, Battle of the Bands.
EXHIBITION
This year, we are focusing on the plight and experiences of disabled persons, through multi-sensory installations and evocative photographs aimed to address the role of the arts in the different communities in Malaysia.
WORKSHOP
From calligraphy, to bead-making, cactus-planting and furniture-making, you’ll be spoiled for choice with so many free workshops to choose from. Remember, entry is on a first-come-first-served basis only. So be there early on the festival weekend to register!
FILM
Catch fan favourites and locally-made films addressing various social issues in Malaysia. From films like Redha, Adiwiraku and the Indivior Red Ribbon Short Film Competition, you’ll be in for a treat. Entry is first-come-first-served basis only.
